Here is what used to exist in the place where the Men now only love the Boys

Kick-flips and choke-holds
Heads smashed against curbs in parking lots outside bars
Televised beatings in cages
Murder
(when a prominent adult was murdered it was called “assassination”)
War
(which was divided into “legal war” and “illegal war”)
Whomever was doing the war decided which type it was
Flamethrowers
Poison gas
Napalm
Nuclear weapons
Robots in the sky that blew people up

Disabled people were cut apart in pieces to study
They were also cut open to remove their reproductive organs
People were told they were mentally ill and then electrocuted
Drugs were prescribed to sedate people not selected for electrocution
If you prescribed or made your own drugs
You got caught and placed in a prison

In the last days
A prison was a place where people were locked in steel bunkers
Surrounded by several walls
Wire with razors and hooks welded to it
Killer dogs
Men with machine guns
In the last days they more often only put one person in one bunker at one time
They would let the person out for a few minutes every day
In order to manipulate them
Unless they were “bad”
Then they didn’t let them out for a few minutes every day

In earlier days
They put as many people in bunkers as possible
To suffocate them
Make them believe they were going crazy
Make them drink their own urine
Defecate on the floor
Sleep in it
They would periodically put those people in a ring
To fight to the death
They also made them do sex
Tortured them

In all the days
People died in prison
No one could decide if that was worse than forced labour rape and death camps
Or better
They didn’t consider the other options
So there would be long stretches of imprisonment
Punctuated by short intense bursts of prolonged rape and murder
A type of real mental illness
Which equally brutalized the perpetrators and victims
This was called “genocide”
Whomever was not doing the possible genocide 
Decided if it was one or not
There was a lot of talking during possible genocides
It was a treasured pastime

After a possible genocide was done happening
The possible genocide became an actual genocide
(Adults used to use hindsight to deal with horror)
The genocide would then be used as the subject of art that depicted military triumph
At first on a cave wall
Eventually in a painting
Once the printing press was invented
Genocides were used as stories for books
When pictures were invented
They took pictures of genocides
Awards for the pictures were created
Best yearly picture of a genocide
Movies were invented soon after
Genocides became the subjects of movies
People cried and ate popcorn and put their phones on silent

Women told Boys they were ashamed of them
They withheld love from them
Frustration mutated
Men withheld love from Girls
Replaced it with control
This was another type of actual mental illness
Women and Men preventing themselves from loving their own children
None of these people were electrocuted or put on drugs or had their reproductive organs removed
No wonder Women had to leave

The cutting of arms with razor blades
Men and Women called it “self-harm”
To make Girls think that they spontaneously generated the idea
That made the Girls eat too much food on purpose and then throw it up
Which they were told was a “self-image” problem
Then they would experience and/or induce in others rage depression cancer alcoholism rape drug addiction auto-immune disease violent marriage beating children child abuse suicide attempts and actual suicide
Survivors of these things were then told they had to “focus on themselves”
To “work on themselves”
Told to practice “self-love” without instruction or role model
Mocked by false kindness

Children were frequently shot at school
Mainly in the younger grades
Girls had their genitals mutilated
Boys were relentlessly raped by Men
Girls were relentlessly raped by Men
Women were raped so often by Men
That rape became a confusing topic

Cats were skinned
Dogs were beaten
Dogs were starved
Dogs were abandoned
Dogs were bred to kill other dogs
Dogs were bred to kill people
They called the dogs 
Man’s best friend

Children were told who they were before they became who they were
That is how Men and Women got children to become just like them
It was common to almost every culture
The cultures that didn’t have this practice were forced to assimilate it
And those are the cultures that ended up perfecting it
A sick irony

In the last days
Violence was widespread
So a new solution was attempted
Police language
Police thought
Remove identity markers
Never say anything definitely
They had a word for it
But it didn’t work
It had the opposite effect
The violence grew to Adulthood

Like a sleeping lion awoken by the desperate story of hunting and made to gash through scrub land at night desperate for water but only finding pools of blood succumbing to poaching and vile lecherous explosions of gore always pressing on innocence and what could they do but finally despair and give in to it even in their dreams

That is what used to exist in the place where the Men now only love the Boys
